We also provide training for school governors and staff on dealing with hate crime, specifically within schools.
In partnership with Merseyside Police, we offer the Confidence Project, a 6-week program for young people aged 11-17 from black/Asian/Arabic communities. This project aims to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes by providing a positive space for interaction with the police. Participants meet dedicated officers who educate them on their rights, the history of policing, career options, and personal development opportunities like police cadets. We are also supporting the development of a mentoring project for young people aged 14-16
As part of what we do we love to learn from each other and share experiences through community events. We celebrate International womens day, Hate Crime Awareness Week, Eid, Christmas and Easter as well as other key traditions celebrated across our communities. We also deliver hate crime awareness events and stalls for wider community events.

This helps to strengthen friendships and shared experiences but ultimately fun days out for families who may not have the chance to experience days out due to financial pressures.

We offer advice and support to parents regarding school application processes/accessing support for children regarding health and education. We also provide opportunities funding dependent for people to participate in interactive walking tours within the city centre with Arts Groupie hearing about the history of Liverpool as well as practical support for independent travel how and where to buy savaways – how and where to use and how to travel across the city region.
We are passionate about supporting people with health and wellbeing. We worked with local nutritionist Robert to deliver a nutritional programme. Robert shared his experience about the importance of a balanced diet and nutrients and then each week we cooked a meal together which we then all tried out at home with our families.
